The Knapp

Peaslands Knapp

Acquired by the SVA in 2010, Peaslands Knapp is an area of land adjoining Peaslands Road, consisting of an estimated 3 acres. This is maintained as a wildlife area by a group of volunteers.

It is open to the public for walking and understanding more about wildlife and the environment. It consists of part woodland, part scrub and part meadow and is grazed by sheep in winter.

The Knapp

The SVA bought the Knapp, an area of 8 acres of mixed woodland and open space from EDDC in 2019, It is being developed by volunteers with Contractors carrying out the heavier work.
